@iFilmmakers @Apple It is annoying. But I do like that you can adjust the blur after you’ve shot it. I’ve brought many an ear back from oblivion. But if the phone can do that you’d think locking exposure wouldn’t be a stretch!

I use Cinematic mode all the time for b-roll and it’s great, but… And it’s a biggie. Not being able to LOCK the white balance/exposure is so incredibly dumb! It makes it where you can have little to no movement in your shots. Or the look changes. PLEASE @Apple fix this!!

@MarcSettle I haven’t actually tried continuity cam. The biggest improvement I saw was in FCPX. (And the reason for risking an early download) My 2018 MacBook Pro was having real issues on the last operating system. This has been trouble free since the start and FCPX is running smoothly.

I finally have the option to update my Mac to Ventura. For those who have had it for a while, is it noticeably better than Monterey? The feature I'm most interested in is Continuity Cam and DeskView - good or gimmicky?

One Apple gadget I've never owned is an Apple Pencil. Are they useful? Are ones made by other manufacturers any good or should I stick with Apple's, despite the expense? Would getting one finally give my hitherto relatively-unused iPad Pro a new lease of life?
