@EthanLevins2 You can just move to Iran. They’ll welcome you there. Or Gaza. Or Lebanon, where Hezbollah rules the roost. Or Yemen. Lots of jihadist shitholes for you to cozy up to. Have fun.

1. Now the Lord said to Abram, “Go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you. 2. And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. 3. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

If you wonder why Israelis are so emotional, it’s because they loved and adored Trump and the disappointment is overwhelming. Can you blame them?

@jessisajew I don't blame you. I am an American who voted for @POTUS 3x, and I feel that he betrayed us as well. It is utterly embarassing and shameful.

Everyone in Israel needs to stop focusing on expanding their geography, raping kids and walking around like you’re a biblically privileged being ordained from some god. Fucking exist, make kids, teach them to be nice and be good people. Stop the fucking “I’m better than you therefore i can eliminate you bs. Live nicely.

@jessisajew @rebchins I'm an American & I feel betrayed also. I understand that USA needs Israel more than she needs us. Trump just trashed us all. I'm sorry. Yet, God will always be w/ Israel. Praise be His Holy Name.

Yeh well you shouldn’t have done Gaza then dragged us into the war with Iran. We’ve lost the war stupid. We are out of missile interceptors, money, and economic runway. So we are going to stop fighting with or without Israel. I feel a profound sense of betrayal in Israel. I used to support it. Now I’m disgusted. So for me as for most American voters, support for Israel ends now.

Exactly. Israel is clearly by itself now, alone to face Hezbollah, Hamas and Iran, burdened by this deal. Iran, as usual, will take a couple of years to rebuild its forces and its proxies - with US released funding - while the US and the world will pressure Israel to do nothing about it. This is obviously unacceptable for Israel. Borderline insane, really. No jew - israeli or not - should support this madness. The opposition in Israel is already calling Bibi “weak”. Even the left. This deal united all the israeli political spectrum to be even tougher than Bibi himself. Imagine that! Now the israeli public will simply vote for whomever show the most aggressive stance against this deal. There is absolutely zero chance Israel will accept this quietly. Zero.

@Volker_Beck Also your use of the term Arab is a tool to dehumanize Palestinians as if they are simply from Arabia and stumbled on Palestine. DNA shows they have 80-90% of DNA of Canaanites 5-15,000 years ago. They are PALESTINIANS. Israeli Arabs are PALESTINIAN CITIZENS OF ISRAEL

@Volker_Beck Israel has occupied the West Bank for 59 years w/o annexing it. It has settled a MILLION Jews (almost 0 “Arab” Israelis: also apartheid) w/full rights & a California lifestyle w/freeways while their INDIGENOUS neighbors are under lock & key. You support apartheid, SHAME on you.

Netanyahu has decided to accept the Iranian deal. Security officials are despondent and see it as a disaster. Ynet brings some high level quotes from them: 1) A senior Israeli official said "Nobody is happy with this. We understand it is not good for us, and that it harms Israeli interests. What is troubling is that Israel cannot influence it. Its voice is not being heard." 2) The anger at Trump is palpable.: "Trump screwed us, we took the hit. We're no longer in the loop and can't really influence anything." 3) Israelis fear Iran will be economically revived: "They've blown money on the Iranians, who are getting everything they want. They'll build a missile corps, and we'll have to pour money into interceptors." Israel sees oil revenue flowing back into the exact capabilities the war was meant to degrade. 4) They don't believe a deal will adequately deal with the nuclear issue: "The real test of the deal is removing the uranium and destroying it. If that doesn't happen, the sense of a bad deal will turn into something more concrete." 5) They fear this will embolden Iran: "Iran has smelled that it can achieve things by force, and it will use that against its neighbors and against us." 6) The deepest worry is not military. It is perception. After months of direct fire, Iran is seen across the region as the side that took the pressure and did not fold: "the regional working assumption will be that it was signed under Iranian pressure and American capitulation, rather than the reverse." Israel is concerned that Iran will be stronger, the US will be weaker and that the future for it will be bleak in the region. This war has been a disaster for Israel.

@nicolelampert 99.9% of Jews left by AD 1000 or converted: Palestinians remained. DNA proves it. 80-90% of Pali DNA matches Canaanite DNA 3000 BC. Modern Jews = 50% Canaanite, 50% Other. You “return” & steal land from & ethnically cleanse descendants of converted Jews & other Canaanites. Sick.

A former antizionist changed his mind after looking at who is indigenous to the land of Israel: ‘If Jews remain in the places into which they were exiled, they are not decolonizing nor are they experiencing self-determination — they are occupying the Indigenous lands of others. If Jews stay in Brooklyn, they are occupying Lenape land. If they go back to Poland, they are occupying Polish land. Only in Israel are Jews on Jewish land. Hence, establishing and returning to Israel is decolonization. The only way the conflict can ever move forward, is if all parties accept this fact. To Jews, this is non-negotiable. The alternative — that Jews remain in exile, only to be murdered and subjugated for another 2000 years — is simply unacceptable.’ Link below 👇🏼

@otherbarak But sadly opinion polls show that most Jewish Israelis agree with statements like “there are no innocents in Gaza” and “treat enemies like Amalek”. I expect this from Africa, Afghanistan but not you- Americans used to admire you. I don’t want my taxes to pay for genocide.

Yesterday I was walking down the street in Tel Aviv and a guy celebrating Pride started saying things in public towards me. “Hitting on me” would be an understatement. It wasn’t subtle and it wasn’t respectful. And honestly, it made me uncomfortable. Not because he was gay. Because what he did simply crossed the line. Everyone I’ve shared this story with, both gay and straight, concur. You’re allowed to have thoughts.. I have mine about females. Certain things remain to yourself. God forbid I said what he did to me to a female. But, this isn’t about Pride. What struck me afterwards wasn’t the interaction itself. It was how easy it would have been for me to take that one experience and use it to justify a larger conclusion about an entire community. The reality is that he doesn’t represent every gay person. He doesn’t represent Pride. He represents himself. Maybe a small percentage of people within that community. But not the millions of others who didn’t behave that way. Some of my gay friends told me what he did was unacceptable and not okay by any measure. The reason I’m sharing this is because I think we struggle with this concept everywhere. A person does something extreme. A group member says something awful. Someone behaves in a way that deserves criticism. And before we know it, we’ve quietly expanded one person into millions. That doesn’t mean the behavior should be excused. It doesn’t mean we ignore what happened. It means we learn how to hold two ideas at the same time: 2 things can be true at once. I think about this constantly when it comes to Jews, Israelis, Palestinians, Muslims, Christians, left-wing people, right-wing people, and honestly almost every group on earth. The extremists are often the loudest. They’re the easiest to notice. They’re the easiest to remember. But they’re rarely the whole story. And if we’re not careful, we end up building our understanding of millions of people based on the worst representative we happened to meet.

@LewisJonathanE Nice try but anti Zionism is what it says: against a Jewish SUPREMACIST state on the land of the natives. WE ALL KNOW NOW that it’s not calling for destruction of Jews or even Israeli Jews. Just no more Supremacism, crafty borders, apartheid to deny the vote to WB Palestinians.

This is why it's urgent that Jewish organizations name antizionism for what it is A hate movement that uses libels such as "genocidal" and "colonizer" in order to manufacture consent for violence against Jews Say it with me: hate crime legislation must take into account the hateful rhetoric of antizionism

@hahussain The West Bank towns in question are Jews only. Palestinian citizens of Israel are de facto banned from them. Let alone the actual native West Bank people. It’s illegal to build on occupied land. Let Israel annex it and give the vote to the actual natives of the West Bank.

No you don’t. You wouldn’t have minded if an Israeli was selling to a Palestinian. You only condemn when the final purchaser is a Jew. This racism of not selling land to Jews has been going on since forever. If this was about real estate, then let the original owner produce a deed and let there be litigation. Sovereignty and landownership are two separate things. But your knee-deep in identity politics and bias to a tribe you think is your own (when it’s not, you can’t even speak their language) than to know.
