Bondi's portrait was in a trash bin within hours. Career officials celebrated quietly. She served sixty years' worth of shortest tenures and still did enormous damage - 23,000 criminal cases closed, the Epstein file process botched in both directions at once, the DOJ/White House firewall dismantled on day one.
She was fired because she wasn't effective enough at prosecuting Trump's enemies. The DOJ found no real evidence against Jerome Powell and a federal judge heard a government attorney admit it.
The man who replaced her defended Trump across three criminal cases simultaneously. That's the inheritance. The infrastructure's intact. The independence isn't.

Congressmen and Senators finally started to understand Bondi was running a cover up for Trump, before that they looked the other way. We need leaders that won't assume criminals like Trump are a little thing and just assume the problem will go away.
