@EliteClubS0B Orton and Cody have such a natural rich history together that could have been explored to build this feud and match organically and properly. WWE did the impossible, they took away all of the excitement I had for their match and flushed it down the toilet. I don't care anymore.

One source indicates the directive may have even come from Ari Emanuel, CEO of TKO, although that is not confirmed. The idea reportedly stems from the agreement with ESPN, following the deal to broadcast the first hour of each night of WrestleMania on linear channels.

@EliteClubS0B The only one that I have found any entertainment value from is IShowSpeed. I'm not even a fan of his streams or anything he does offline, but I respect his comedic timing, his selling and his entertainment value that he brings. He just gets it.

@RhodesKotaEra I can tell considering how unnatural, forced, and how randomly out of place all of this felt. Pat was believable when he was a sympathetic baby face with Gunther. On the flip side, I think his delivery and believability as a heelish character is a failure. TKO are idiots.

@CastagnaTiffany The actual match quality may be fine, but a proper build that brings up their rich history with some natural progression and tension adds to the excitement of the actual match. I'll still enjoy the match, but it'll be like eating a meal of leftovers instead of filet mignon.

Some of you are ridiculous. I agree with Cody. McAfee did not give the excitement we hoped for, but to say because of that, that Cody vs Randy isn’t still a STELLAR main event? The idiocy. One hiccup isn’t ruining the match that will steal #WrestleMania weekend. Give me a break.

@solomonster 87% thumbs down as of me posting this, definitely deserves every bit of that. I'm surprised at how terrible this episode was, but then again with how terrible that the creative has been over the past year, I shouldn't be. Embarrassing.

What did you think of #Smackdown from St. Louis?

@WrestlePurists I get that celebrities have always been a part of wrestlemania to some extent, but I think they are being used as a crutch in situations where they don't add any benefit to what they bring. This would have been much better one-on-one, Trick definitely doesn't need any help.

@RhodesKotaEra I didn't have a problem with what he had to say, it's who was saying it. Pat McAfee is believable as the sympathetic baby face, but terrible as a heelish type of a character. It doesn't come off as believable, feels forced and fake. There is no wait and see for this, it sucks.

@WrestleOps Orton is one of my all-time favorites, but if it means I don't have to see Pat McAfee on my TV ever again, I hope to God that he loses emphatically. Pat can be okay in small doses, but him trying to act tough or heelish is comical, just terrible acting.
