We are well past the point of “normalizing” AI features in games. That is where this train is headed. There is no stopping it unless nobody wants or buys these products and uses these features. Government can heavily regulate AI but that will only slow it down, not stop it.

@hutchinson AI slop sucks and we shouldn’t normalize it going into games and making everything look worse. Yeah it’s the “devs” that will “choose” to enable it or not, but we all know it’s the corpos at the top that will force them to use it, and then eventually force us to use it too.

@CODF2025 this makes no sense, a game mode with no loadouts makes my site nearly pointless (and my income source), and activision doesn't pay anyone for anything like that as far as i am aware, i just played it and legitimately thought "huh, i could see myself actually playing this"

Honestly, as someone who doesn't have time to play much anymore, not having to level any guns to play the new mode is awesome. Always been a huge barrier to entry for people who don't play much, feeling constantly behind on leveling and the meta
