Tubby Robot

This weekend we're introducing Ice Cream Nachos! We engineered from-scratch Waffle Cone Chips, and we're serving them with the ice cream and dipping sauce of your choice.

After being MIA for a number of years, we've made a new batch of fan-favorite Mint Cookie ice cream. It's excellent on its own, but like most ice cream it's even better on a Belgian Waffle Sundae. Those are back too, by the way, in case you didn't know.

Tubby Robot will be closed from December 24th through January 1st so our staff can recharge and spend time with their families. We'll resume our normal hours on Friday, January 2nd!

The year is quickly coming to an end, and that means that you only have a few more days to get your Tubby Robot fix until our winter recess! We've got a few specialty items ready for you and yours: Pizzelle Cones, Peppermint White Chocolate ice cream, and Big Ginger Cookies.

It is in fact Small Business Saturday, and we have a lot going on at the shop. For the first time ever, we have an honest-to-goodness ROBOT on the premises. Robotics Team 1218 at Springside Chestnut Hill will be showcasing their creation all afternoon!

You've got a lot of people to feed, so we've stocked up our supply of half gallons. Come on by to ensure your Thanksgiving dinner has a sweet finale! Our shop will be closed tomorrow on Thanksgiving day, but we'll resume our regular schedule on Friday.

Tonight is Manayunk's tree lighting ceremony! Running from 5:30pm through 7pm there will be music and mirth a-plenty at Canal View park. To contribute to the festive spirit, we're unveiling our own seasonal light show AND we'll be serving our beloved from-scratch Hot Chocolate.

EATER BEWARE, YOU'RE IN FOR A SCARE! We can't resist terrible wordplay, so we brought back our cult classic flavor Spookies & Scream. It's an unholy amalgamation of Chocolate and Cookies & Cream, and we suspect you'll end up howling for more.

It's no secret that Autumn is among the finest quadrants of the year. Here at Tubby, we're serving up our beloved S'more Sundae, along with a host of seasonally-appropriate ice cream flavors: Pumpkin Pie, Butter Pecan, and the indelible Harvest Apple.

We're in the thick of Manayunk Restaurant Week and it's been BUSY here on Main Street. Our Restaurant Week menu item is a 6-scoop ice cream flight for $15. If you've every wanted to eat *a little bit of everything* at our shop, this is a good time to stop by!

To enjoy this weather to its fullest, we have a STACKED deck of specialty sundaes on offer. The most recent addition is the Blueberry Buckler Sundae, which features a blueberry muffin baked by My Sweet Gluttony and a drizzle of pure honey.

It's a beautiful day out there, and that makes it even more difficult to announce that we will be closed today, Friday August 22nd. One of our neighbors has suffered a water main break and the utilities have been shut down for all of the properties on our side of the block.

Peanut butter lovers, your time is NOW. The G.W. Carver sundae is back this weekend, and boy does it stick to a theme.

Most of tonight's Stroll After Hours festivities have been cancelled due to the weather. Here at Tubby, however, we're still selling Cookie Sandwiches with a brand new type of cookie: Chocolate White Chocolate Chip!

Today, you can find us in Center City at the Ice Cream Festival on Filbert at Reading Terminal Market! From noon to 5pm we'll be serving up freshly-baked Mini Ice Cream Hoagies on Filbert Street.

Tonight is the kick off of Stroll After Hours, a bigger, bolder Main Street experience on Thursdays in July! To start it off, we're working with classic chocolate chip cookies baked by My Sweet Gluttony.

In case you were wondering: we are operating on our standard Monday schedule during Memorial Day! Come stop by, order a flight, and play an extremely patriotic game of Contra.

Today is the StrEAT Festival in Manayunk, and we're celebrating by offering a brand new menu item! The Classic Ice Cream Sandwich is a hearty take on the frozen treats we all grew up with, baked and assembled from scratch by our friends at My Sweet Gluttony.
