R1: Nearpod has been an excellent technology resource for me because it is an excelled version of a Powerpoint. With Nearpod, you can ask the students questions as you go and have them do activities. #educW200chat
A2: a great resource I've found is Chatterpix. I think it's fun and a good way to connect with your class whether it is used as an introduction or as part of an assignment. #educW200chat
A1: Yes, it is important to integrate technology into my future classroom for many reason including researching topics, finding reliable sources and communicating with peers. #educw200chat
The marshmallow tower was a great activity. It was a bit more frustrating than expected but it also pushed my group members and I to think outside the box. #w200@educguo30
My groups thoughts on DC lesson plan ideas where to enlist advanced students as in class “tutors” for less advanced students after they complete their own work. This will help both sets of students immensely and will also keep both sets engaged! #educW200@educguo30
I watched the “Breaking Ad” episode of DoNotTrack. I think it’s very interesting how cookies are used and how we basically can’t do no to them. #W200@educguo30
The activity we did in class on Tuesday was a very good introduction to our new topic. I liked how it was fun but also education. In the future I could use this activity in the classroom to either begin a new topic or recap an older topic. #educw200@educguo30
I created a Youtube video about math word problems. I used Premier pro, which is like iMovie. I think this is a really good tool and would make math fun for students youtu.be/McbA_mAVNe0 via @YouTube#educw200@educguo30
I used Nearpod to create a lesson about dividing fractions. I believe this is a really good tool to use in the classroom to keep everyone on the same page. share.nearpod.com/FBKmFkZ8TT#educw200@educguo30
Popplet was very easy to use and convenient for making concept maps for students to understand what is happening in class. Although it wasn't the most colorful to use, it was simple and still more fun than simply writing on a board. #educw200@educguo30
