🚨BREAKING: A U.S. citizen was threatened with pepper spray by an ICE agent… for doing absolutely nothing but standing still and filming. In Carpinteria, California, a woman is documenting ICE activity, legally, from a safe distance. She’s not interfering, not approaching, not even moving… and yet, an ICE agent walks toward her with pepper spray already drawn, ordering her to “stay there.” She responds that she is, because she hasn’t moved at all. He backs off, then turns around and threatens her again, saying if she comes closer he’s going to escalate… even though she never moved closer. Then, as HE moves closer to HER, he gives her a “warning.” Even though, the only person advancing in this situation is the agent, weapon in hand, creating a problem that didn’t exist. So, just to clarify what is happening in this video… this is intimidation. A federal agent is escalating against a stationary U.S. citizen who is complying, simply for exercising her right to record in public. So, what are the rules here…? If standing still, following commands, and documenting in public can still get you threatened with chemical weapons, then this has nothing to do with safety. It’s about control… It’s about making people too afraid to record what’s happening. Because when agents can point weapons at citizens who are complying, while creating their own justification to escalate… Then the constitution no longer matters.

🚨BREAKING: Armed suspected ICE agents are now grabbing young women outside college fraternities… Yesterday, a young woman was surrounded by armed men and taken, outside a fraternity house, at the University of Washington… And we need to stop pretending this is normal. Armed men grabbing a woman in public, and refusing to identify themselves, is exactly what we teach women to fear… and now the government is normalizing that, and calling it “law enforcement.” And this doesn’t just affect one person… it lowers the safety of every woman, on every campus. Because now, there’s no clear line between law enforcement and a predator. If unidentified men can take a woman from a dorm, a campus, a fraternity… then any man can pretend to be ICE and do the same thing, and that confusion is exactly what predators rely on. But, it gets worse… ICE has a pattern of detaining people they shouldn’t, then releasing them without belongings, without support, sometimes far from where they were taken… Now, apply that to a college student… away from family, in an unfamiliar place, suddenly without a phone, ID, or any way to get home. ICE agents are illegally taking whoever they can… and every time people excuse it, the line moves further. Because the second a country normalizes masked armed men grabbing any women in public, especially college students, and refusing to identify themselves… That’s not only NOT public safety… it’s actively putting every woman at risk.

@MiwiTheClerWise Bob has one scene with Will. All of Hopper's scenes with Will and Jonathan in seasons 1 & 2 are better than any scene with Bob. I get it. Season 5 sucked, but you're projecting headcanons onto Bob and acting like we didn't see Hopper be a father figure to the boys in seasons 1&2.

We never got to see how he is much with the Byers boys esp Will. Even with El I’m kinda not a fan. Hes loving until the writers decide he’s gonna be an ass for no reason. Shouldve died in s3 permanently and they shouldn’t have killed Bob. Having Hop alive was a bad writing choice

@MiwiTheClerWise @joyceannebyers Hopper is a flawed character. He isn't meant to be a perfect parent. In season 1 he is a pill popping drunk who sleeps around and doesn't take his job seriously. I don't think you appreciate how much Hopper did change for El. After all he went through, season 3 makes sense to me.

@joyceannebyers Sorry for how long this is but yeah I think the issue with s5 writing in general and with s3 even just kinda worsened how his character is for me. Idm jopper still and it’s very possible the writers could have fucked up Bob too considering they did for many characters writing

”White people crying was the goal” They say it openly. They laugh about it. And the audience applauds. This clip is a perfect example of how normalized it has become to openly discriminate against White people. It’s not just a throwaway comment, it’s a celebration of hurting an entire group of people based solely on their race. And the fact that it’s met with applause shows how deeply this mindset has infiltrated our culture. Now imagine if someone said the same thing about Black people. The outrage would be immediate and intense. There would be calls for censorship, bans, and apologies. The media would be all over it. But when it’s directed at White people, it’s treated like a joke, or worse, like a victory. That double standard is not just unfair, it’s dangerous. It teaches people that it’s acceptable to demean, dehumanize, and mock a group of people as long as they’re White. And if we don’t call it out, it becomes normal.
