If you dig into Massey’s endorsement history, then you aren’t exactly surprised that he’s letting down House Republicans and essentially protecting Democrat Jim Clyburn @RepJamesClyburn’s congressional seat. During the 2024 GOP Presidential Primary in South Carolina, Massey endorsed Nikki Haley @NikkiHaley for President of the United States over Donald Trump. Massey has NEVER supported President Trump in the key primary state of South Carolina, and records show Massey did not endorse anyone during the 2016 South Carolina Presidential Primary. Massey has already turned his back on President Trump *twice* on prior important matters.
