@BandicootTrash_ I mean we didn’t prioritize playing in transition at all last season. We were 29th last year in pace and we’re tied for 8th this year. It’s clearly been a point of emphasis

Mainoo and Casemiro have started 10 games together this season.
They won 7; drew 2; lost 1.
2 of those wins were against the only two teams that have managed to stay above us in the league, since Casemiro and Mainoo became our starting midfield base.
If that combo “doesn’t work,” then I can’t imagine how bad every other midfield in the league is— seeing as they’ve all gotten worse results than Cas and Kobbie.

@TheBoyDylan54 @Wolvesmuse Naw was kinda overrated here. He’s definitely doing insane now but here he was an elite energy raiser and pretty good shooter and a good defender. Dosunmu is that but his the way he raises the pace in the whole team + his playmaking and scoring, it puts him ahead of naw
