I love $YB, but these risks are important.
@yieldbasis is currently generating $465,000 in monthly net fees.
When you look at the math, it’s trading at a Price-to-Fees (P/F) ratio of 6.78x.
Compare that to other yield protocols like @pendle_fi (which I also love) at ~22.2x...
They already distributed 17.55 BTC (~$1.67M) to $veYB lockers even with a sideway market.
The engine is also producing gross yields of over $5.5M monthly from its arbitrage vaults.
But there is a massive catch that most people are ignoring: the subsidy.
Yield Basis is spending $22 in incentives for every $1 it captures in net fees. That is a $10.6M monthly spend.
The real test comes in Q1 2026. The 6-month investor cliff is approaching, and early backers are sitting on 6x-13x gains with only 12.3% of the supply currently circulating.
The protocol is incredible, but the dilution is coming.
