If I was Toby Fox and I saw this tweet I would delist Undertale and Deltarune from all Latin America storefronts and then travel to each of my Latin American fans houses and personally delete undertale and deltarune off of their computer.

@MichiCattarus @RealT5mpler Otra cosa es el hecho de que las traducciones oficiales muchas veces la cagan cuando no están bien hechas. En este discurso online ya se ha nombrado VARIOS juegos que cagaron una traducción. Silksong, Kingdom Hearts 3, OFF, etc. Toby es un autor que quiere lo mejor para sus obras

@MichiCattarus @RealT5mpler Además, pensar que "las traducciones son un supuesto" ni es verdad. Hay miles de juegos, series, etc. que NUNCA reciben un traducción a otras idiomas, hechos por compañías que tienen muchos millones más que Toby. No ES un supuesto. Este mindset que existe es muy consumidor.

So many "fans" are completely devaluing localization as a craft in an effort to pretend that Undertale & Deltarune are easy games to translate. Some people are getting genuinely anti-art about all this

The whole Toby Fox situation is really exposing how many people don't know the difference between translation vs localization It's a lot more complex than just translating the text, especially with games so heavily reliant on wordplay, double meaning and dialog tone
