Serious $SGMO question— We all know it’s “worth” more than market stock price. The “discount” is primarily 3 parts: 1) Cash runway 2) Lack of clear transaction strategy 3) Sandy Macrae himself If they indeed hired Evercore, then #3 is out. So how much in share price is #3?

@meangenebio Appealing the delisting almost costs them nothing, so why would $SGMO forgo that option? During the appeal, the delisting is stayed until after the hearing and final adjudication.

@wintament $SGMO Managers are generally allowed to buy or sell shares in their company – but not if they currently have access to confidential, price-sensitive information. In such a case, it would clearly constitute insider trading and be a criminal offense.

If I were on the inside of $SGMO and had faith we are sitting on a potential 10x you would think they would jump in for 500,000 shares at this price and turn $165K into $1.6 Mil... so you have to wonder just how much faith they have going forward

I also think Wall St. Banks are strongly advising them NOT to, given SM’s propensity to run the company into the ground + fact that street Naked Short position is MASSIVE and would hurt the Banks bigly. The answer? The Japanese. They will see past it. The “killer $SGMO Deal” would be a half dozen individual CVR’s for each asset plus patents on top of a small $250M cash component — all contingent on FDA Fabry Approval. Total deal value could hit $2-4B and because CVR’s have to be paid in cash….. Naked Shorts would be OBLITERATED
