The yet-to-be-announced but heavily rumored bout between Canelo Alvarez and Christian Mbilli in September is no longer being considered for Saudi Arabia due to the region's current instability. ❌️
Canelo-Mbilli is now expected to take place in Las Vegas 🇺🇸 or Mexico 🇲🇽.

In talking with people at Netflix when this was announced, contracts were signed for this to be a pro fight at The Sphere in Las Vegas on Sept. 19. When I asked the same people at Netflix if they would have been interested in an exhibition, they had said no. Going to take it this as a power play by someone who desperately needs the money and not at a position of strength.
