Big things are coming to the 2026 Annual Meeting. This year, we’re introducing new CLE topics that tackle emerging trends in the legal profession, plus networking opportunities designed to help you connect with colleagues across Virginia.

The Virginia State Bar Real Property Section has named Kevin T. Pogoda as the recipient of the 2026 Traver Scholar Award, given each year to honor a lawyer who embodies the highest ideals and expertise in the practice of real estate law: bit.ly/4cXEzvR

Volunteers should sign up before March 11 to participate in Loudoun County, and before May 6 to participate in Roanoke.

The VSB Young Lawyers Section, with support from the Virginia Law Foundation, is partnering with Loudoun County, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, and the City of Roanoke to provide first responders and their spouses FREE basic estate planning documents.

Mark your calendars! The VSB Annual Meeting returns June 3–6 in beautiful Virginia Beach. This is your chance to earn CLE credits, meet judges and colleagues, and enjoy time with family by the ocean. More details and registration information will be available in the spring.
