@tostyart I doubt he was spraying, street sweepers dont do road maintenace like painting or weeding etc. most likely it was a blower for debris removal or a water pack, idk how big the hose was but usually the vehicle itself has vaccuums/brooms/water hoses on it so i'd wager leaf blower

Question for peace of mind, I wasn’t seeing well bc my anxiety and this man with headphones, a orange pack and a sort of nozzle got like 1 inch from me, he went into a street sweeper truck, he had a construction outfit one, nozzle was grey. Sweepers don’t spray chems right?
