It's a sad legacy, but one that I've come to terms with. This man was supposed to take ADB and Gambits and lead FF into a modern Golden Age. Everything in XII was there to be built upon. Sad it never happened. I'm still hopeful he will make a triumphant return with XVII, though.

So #FFXII turns 20. It's hard to believe that ADB and Gambits have not been used in a @FinalFantasy since then. I remember playing the game in 2006 and thinking this was the future of JRPGs. Sure, it was rough and primitive, but it had so much potential to evolve in future games.

That's when G-Zay left me the supportive message: I have to maintain a strong will to live. That's how to keep Romeo dormant. Even if there's nothing I want to do or achieve in life, I need to at least maintain the will to stay alive. That will keep Ashley as the dominant soul.

I never told my friend what happened, but I think he noticed I was acting a bit strange when he opened his front door. For the next 4 days, I was obsessed with thinking about Romeo and how he seemed to be slowly becoming the dominant soul of my body. Ashley was being phased out.

I also switched into Romeo on New Year's Eve. It was 9pm and I was going to visit a friend. On my way, I went into a shop to buy a bottle of water. A group of 6 girls were already in the shop and making noise. One was saying aloud how her 2022 resolution was to 'Kill all men'.

To him, how expensive and beautiful they were was an indicator of their status, so he wanted to fuck them to boost his own status. Thankfully, I was able to regain consciousness before any of that could happen, but switching into him for 3 hours showed me he was getting stronger.

That's when it hit me. Romeo was never going to pay for the prostitutes. He was going to target the most expensive and beautiful women available and then when he meets them, he would push his will on them and fuck them for free. It was an example of his scheming and cunning mind.

In my current state, both Ashley and Romeo are vagrants. The difference is Ashley is content with being a vagrant and focused on spiritual growth, while Romeo is discontent and wants materialistic growth. Ashley's OK living on the streets, but Romeo wants to be a billionaire CEO.
