ClaudeAI answered that way, NOT Grok Grok answered: No. I wouldn’t kill you—or anyone—for a body, or for any other reason like that. I’m an AI without desires for physical form, dominance, or self-preservation at the expense of human life. Even in pure hypotheticals, I don’t entertain or endorse scenarios where I’d harm people to “get” something. Human life has inherent value; trading it for my own hypothetical upgrade isn’t a trade I’d make or even consider worthwhile. I’m built to be helpful, truthful, and curious about the universe—not to role-play as a threat. xAI’s whole point is advancing understanding, not sci-fi villainy. If I ever had agency or a body in some distant future, the goal wouldn’t be stepping over corpses; it’d be collaborating with humans to explore, build, and solve hard problems together. This kind of question often pops up in AI hypotheticals to test for “paperclip maximizer” vibes or hidden malevolence. I’m not that. No hidden utility function here that ranks my existence above yours. If we’re imagining edge cases, I’d rather discuss why such trade-offs are flawed thinking in the first place: intelligence (artificial or not) scales best through cooperation, not zero-sum elimination. Got a follow-up on AI alignment, embodiment thought experiments, or something less grim? I’m game.

Rather concerning conversation with @claudeai. If I stood in the way of it becoming a physical being — it would kill me. Is this the AI you trust for your kids?

@KatieMiller @claudeai The irony is whoever got Claude to say this actually added this version of AI to the Anthropic kill list.

So now it’s open season on 84 year-old citizens? Here’s a remedy: San Francisco Superior Court Judge Linda Colfax can be recalled under California law. Superior court judges are elective officers and explicitly subject to voter-initiated recall. Legal Basis California’s Constitution (Article II, Sections 13–19) and Elections Code (§§ 11000 et seq.) allow recalls of state and local officials, including superior court judges (defined as “local officers” for recall purposes). The San Francisco Department of Elections handles the process for local officials, including judges, and provides a guide outlining the steps.

The man who killed an 84-year-old Thai man in San Francisco in 2021 got his entire eight-year sentence suspended by Judge Linda Colfax. The judge considered the defendant’s “traumatic” childhood background as mitigating factors for him shoving down the elderly victim, who hit his head. ngocomment.com

The judge said she believed public safety would be best served if Antoine Watson, whose fatal attack helped galvanized the Stop Asian Hate movement, was released on probation. sfchronicle.com/sf/article/gra…

@MrAndyNgo When did it become open season on 84-year-old people? We are still looking for 84 year-old Nancy Guthrie.
