Gerry Conway has sadly passed away at the age of 73. He is known for co-creating The Punisher, Ben Reilly, Firestorm, Jason Todd & more iconic characters. He also wrote one of the most iconic comic stories in history — "The Night Gwen Stacy Died"

On behalf of his family, we are sad to share that Gerry Conway has passed away. Gerry was a tremendous icon in comics who shaped pop culture itself. He was a dear friend, partner, and mentor, and our hearts are with his family and the millions he touched through his work.

I do generally agree with this but I do also think there are plenty of people out there that don’t like to play games or watch others play games but want to experience the story so I do think it’s good that these adaptations exist for those people.
