I think the most eerie thing about this version of the backrooms for me is whenever an object gets shrunken or squished. Especially seeing it next to the original.
I have no clue why it freaks me out, maybe it's like seeing the backrooms' process in action? Like it's alive?

Somewhat silly to say this cause we all hated it back then, but it goes without saying that cringe but passionate and well-meaning skits and personalities are better than the hyper-focus-grouped style of content we get from people who care more about views than what they make.

The big difference is that those older youtubers wanted to make a whole production, not just talk about something. The reviews were just cause they used a hobby they had as a starting ground for it.
The content wasn't the star of the video, the reviewer was.

it's kind of a lost art of Youtube video making, now people dismiss it as Cringe Millenial humor that tries to hard to be funny, so now you have many Zoomer youtubers making super serious essays about not so serious topics.

Cherishing this brief period where I get to see some incredible Iruma and Ameri art on my feed before it all disappears because 95% of Iruma artists refuse to draw women.
My feed will also probably be bombarded with crossdressing art in about 2-3 weeks given the anime's schedule
