@sudsybubble The freedom to follow your conscience, to change your mind, to change religion, freedom of thought etc is always a one way street. It only applies for people becoming a JW. Never the other way.

From the new brochure "Jehovah's Witnesses and education" Amazing that the writing department can publish this and not realize that a child's right to Freedom of Conscience goes both ways... These same people demand parents to totally shun their child if it leaves JW faith.

@cedarsjwsurvey @RefugeCharity @womensaid Agreed. Religious abuse is covered up in this country. Its virtually taboo to discuss. Look at the latest ECHR ruling on Islam for the amount of soft protection out there. Refuge charities don’t discriminate. Abuse is abuse regardless of motivation.
