@adrinobouken @SeraphDB Ah, yea so you're not entirely wrong. The way they set it up, is that you can use regular SS shards on SSRs released BEFORE 2026. Now, SSRs release this year will all use SSR shards. Everyone who can still use SS shards stay like that 👍

@VulcanDefender They gave then until the end of the year to upgrade SSRs with regular SS shards because of community hate, but I think that's no longer available. Anyways @SeraphDB can help us with that question🤔

@Seraphim_Intel These SSRs are still able to be LB'd with the regular shards. In JP there's only 5-6 SSRs that need the new shard type, so no worries. The income for the new shards is pretty ass though, you might wanma start hoarding those points you get from overflowed dupe shards

Bro, I don't even have enough SS shards for my SS and now you expect us to upgrade with SSR shards. Better make upgrading SSR with SS shards longer than a year, because we got no prep for this shit.

Update: Looks like HBR EN gets Act II of Chapter 5 Part 2 in Spring (March - May, I would lean towards March-April). Just wanted to request readers to possibly be gentle when it comes to spoilers, as many people would wait for both acts before reading the chapter.

So Heaven Burns Red's Main Scenario: Chapter 5 Part 2, "A White Spell and the End of the World" Act I releases on January 9th. Taking Yostar's rough timeline into account, that would mean we get Act II sometime in February? Need to hold off reading Act I to binge all of it.

@IItomicI @Ayavanni 😬 I like it! Apart from morimens it's the most fun I've had with a turn based gacha! But holy shit man, new players will experience the gameplay entirely through dungeons, which are a COMPLETE drag. If you can stomach them, then stuff like SC, CT, Astrarium are all very fun!

@Ayavanni While HBR's story lacks in lore and worldbuilding depth, it makes up for it GREATLY with its character writing. Like Limbus, it works with a fixed cast of 48 characters which allows for some amazing development. The interactions between them are also SO much fun and entertaining!

@Arka161 I LOVE how they animate these cutscenes. They're rarely used but when they are, MAN do they never fail to make themselves memorable. The one they used for the chapter 3 final boss is engraved into my soul, the way 31A teleport down, land, walk, look around and react the boss🙂‍↕️

The KEY tools to make readers cry before HBR were dependent on writing, music, CGs, and voice acting. The added dimension from HBR includes 3D models and cutscenes, and beautiful sprite art. It's impressive how many times 3D cutscenes are used to pull off 'nakige' moments.
