I think this is going to be one of the strongest ways VR can break into people's every day lives and massively increase retention.
VR headsets are the perfect 3rd modality of 3D gaming. Handheld < Large Screens < VR
And I'm not just talking about providing a 'bigger screen' to play games in an isolated environment as most vendors have advertised.
We need full "Embodied-View" Immersive VR ports like this one for it to be compelling enough to strap on a headset. If this happens at a consistent rate, VR headsets not only compete in their own ecosystem, but become a competitor to traditional consoles themselves.

People acting like I think generative AI is amazing and just as good as real artists when all I've ever said is it's a nifty technology that has the potential to be used in some neat ways under some circumstances, but unfortunately it's mostly being used for evil.
