@kcdunfordbooks Great question, Kelsey! With 25k words cut and major plot changes, it sounds like a solid rewrite. You should be good to query those agents again! Have you received any feedback from them that could help?

Question! I've heard people say if you rewrite a novel, you can query the same agents again. What counts as a rewrite? I've cut over 25k words, deleted many characters, changed the first chapter, and a lot of the plot. Would that qualify? #writingcommunity #writingquestion

Writing a novel is basically: “I am a genius.” followed 11 minutes later by: “I have created the worst sentence in the English language.” 😅 #writersofX #amwriting

I think my query package is letting my book down but I've redone it so many times and paid someone to look at it and idk where to go from there now 😭
