It’s a beautiful day to break out the 🧹🧹🧹as the CSU Cougars go for the sweep of the PBC series against USCA. The first pitch is at 1 pm at Burger King Stadium at Ragsdale Field. I’ll see you here and have the call on Cougar Sports TV. #RollCougs
Texans must have seen something in the Chargers punting unit because they just timed the snap perfectly and blocked J.K. Scott’s punt.
Luckily it took a hugely favorable Chargers bounce and ends up still going 35 yards.
‼️31 Days until Opening Day‼️
True freshman OF, Cannon Frost, will be wearing the #31 jersey this season! He comes to Aiken from Westminster, CO and made many strides this fall. With his tools and make up we expect big things from him for years to come!
I'm restarting my recruiting
0 interest. 0 offers.
I am going to take you all on a journey to building it back up (as if you never knew who I was)
In a 365-day time frame, I will have interest from over 100+ coaches and have received 25+ scholarship offers.
All through a single roadmap
If this was really happening, here's how I'd build myself back up:
I am going to break this down into 3 main stage
1. No interest or offers
2. Some interest and have 0-2 offers
3. 5+ offers
The strategy is different based on the interest level
Stage 1:
When I have no interest at all (First 90 days).
My goal is simple: Get as much interest as possible and build relationships with them.
How can I do this?
To get interest here's the strategy:
• Post 2X/week on Twitter
• DM 20 coaches everyday
• Email 20 coaches everyday
• Fill out 5 questionnaires
• Follow up with those DMs and emails every week
To build relationships:
• Constantly check in with the coach
• Do your research on the school and the coach to show your interest
• Ask great questions
Stage 2:
When I have some interest and 0-2 offers (Day 90-180):
The strategy is now more focused on NURTURING AND GROWING.
What do I mean by this?
You have interest from coaches but it doesn't mean that they are ready to offer.
I need to be focused on building relationships and figuring out who is actually interested:
• Continue to build interest elsewhere to show demand
• Become more aggressive in your recruiting
• Ask questions that either get you closer to an offer or closer to the truth
Stage 3:
When I have 5+ offers (Day 180-365):
When you hit the point of 5+ offers, your goal is to get more opportunities and find the best for you.
This happens through:
• Going on visits
• Finding the best school for you
• Continuing to DM coaches from the next level up
• Following up with offered schools
• Building relationships with the offers you have
• Being more aggressive with schools who haven't offered
• Negotiating on scholarships (if needed)
This is the roadmap I'd follow.
