The year of the Author Visits. Author Jim Perez read The Eagle who lived as a Chicken. Mr. Perez was the inspiration to the book Lunch Every Day by Kathryn Otoshi who visited Sandel Elementary School earlier this year. #TeamOne #OneTeam

Today our 1st grades had a virtual author visit with Ellia Ana Hill. Mrs. Hill is a Puerto Rican cut paper illustrator and artist. Students listened to Mrs. Hill read the her bilingual book "The No Boy" and allowed students to participate in a Q&A.

I love seeing our teachers working together. These amazing teachers gave up their planning to help make T-shirts for our students who are attending the Special Olympics. True teamwork. #teamone #oneteam @RichlandOne

As a reminder, Friday (February 17) is an early release day for Richland One students. Students will not attend school on Monday, February 20, which is a professional development day for district employees. Regular schedules will resume Tuesday, February 21. #TeamOne #OneTeam
