We've realized there is legit confusion on whether Fortnite competitive rules allow for use of drop calculators, which have evolved from being static web sites to real-time tools connected to the game you’re in. This confusion stems from the current phrasing of our prohibition: "Using any kind of cheating device, program, or similar cheating method to gain a competitive advantage” from our official FNCS rules.
We'll be updating this to reinforce that these devices, programs, and methods are prohibited if they have any access to the real-time state of the game being played (e.g. through memory, screen recording, screenshots, audio, network traffic, files, overlays). This will include overlays that feed real-time screen information from the Fortnite client to competitive advantage analysis tools. Whereas things like informational web pages that don't access the current game state are ok.
Given the confusion on this, disqualification of these players was a mistake and the DQs will be removed from their record. The bad news: due to the tournament timing, the lobbies are now full for this event and it's too late for them to continue in the current tournament.
All future use of these tools is banned if the tools have access to game state.

Cleveland’s ace Gavin Williams starts us off throwing 7 dominant innings against the O’s Saturday, fanning 11. Williams lone blemish was a 4th inning solo shot off the bat of Leody Taveras, which was one of only 3 hits he would surrender on the night. After a breakout 2025 season Williams is off to a great start posting just a 2.12 ERA and 1.01 WHIP through 5 starts in 2026. The tall right hander has a K% of 32.6 to this point in the season ranking him in the 90th percentile in that category. He looks to continue his success Friday against the defending AL champ Toronto Bluejays.
Final Line: 7IP 3Hs 1BB 1R 11Ks
Brandon Woodruff comes in next after a strong 7 inning showing against the Miami Marlins who have now dropped 7 out of their last 8. This is Woodruffs second quality start in a row, posting 13 innings and allowing just 2Rs over that span. Woodruff pounded the zone throwing and impressive 70 strikes out of 92 pitches (76%), inducing contact and keeping the pitch count down allowing him to work through 7 innings. Woodruff looks to stay healthy for a full season for the first time since 2022, and is currently pitching on 6 days rest in order to keep him sharp. He will start again on Friday against the Pirates against Paul Skenes.
Final line: 7IP 3Hs 1BB 1R 4Ks
For the second day in a row a Tiger makes the list, today that being there left handed ace Tarik Skubal as he would fan 10 over 6 innings of 1 run ball. Skubal would induce 19 swings and misses in the 23 Red Sox he saw on Saturday. The 2025 CY Young winner is off to a great start pitching to a 2.08 ERA over 5 starts and 30.1 innings of work. Some numbers to keep an eye on however are his xERA which stands at 3.85 and xBA of 285 which could cool those early strong numbers off. Skubal will take the bump Thursday afternoon against the Brewers.
Final line: 6IP 4Hs 2BBs 1R 10Ks
Taking the last spot after a lot of back and forth goes to Will Warren fanning 11 in 7 innings of work against the bluejays on Saturday afternoon. His 11 Ks would match a career high, with a nasty 2seam which was breaking up to 22” horizontally. That 2seam also helps Warren keep the ball on the ground putting him in the 87th percentile in GB% at 56.6. Yet another young arm coming out of the Yankees pitching lab off to a hot start holding a 2.49 ERA and 1.11 WHIP through his first 5 starts. Warren looks to continue his success next time out against the Astros on Friday.
Final line: 7IP 5Hs 0BB 2R 11Ks
Honorable Mentions: Chris Sale, Taj Bradley, Paul Skenes (Rain Delay), Jameson Taillon, Christopher Sanchez, Max Scherzer, German Marquez
