3-0 @ConverseEsports we are 4x ecc champions. to celebrate never dropping a game in 2 years, i was taking photos w the ops on a more serious note, i am so thankful to be able to play a video game, on the collegiate level, to help fund my education. these last 2 years have really been such a fun and emotional time for me, and i never thought this would have ever happened 2 years ago. this was my last game in collegiate as it currently stands, as i am set to graduate in the fall at utica and im unsure if i will be competing for just one semester here and unsure about CECC texas in may, as i am dealing with some health issues. however, i am still considering some other options, and some possible masters degrees, but school is expensive so you never know for sure. i have learned so much both as a player, a son, a friend, a leader, a student, and a now adult, all because of a video game that took me out of my comfort zone at home, when i was attending a local community college working at an applebees. i have met all of you, people of a video game community, something i had never been apart of before (which im still not apart of bc im a nobody but anyways), and its a great feeeling meeting people who are just as passionate about something that is often frowned upon in the "real world", gaming. i still remember being voted as "most likely to become a pro gamer" for our high schools superlatives. i declined it, because i thought it was stupid to be known for playing video games, especially as someone who played varsity basketball in high school. more people knew me for fornite then the sport that i repped our school with. maybe that was for a reason. i didnt know it then, but this was a path for something much bigger after the lowest of my life. theres too many to thank individually but for anyone whos been apart of my college "journey", starting as a diamond player LOL, i appreciate you. i might dive into t3/t2, so a possible lft post soon!
