The 2026 festival will be held on Sat 7th, Sun 8th, Fri 13th, Sat 14th and Sun 15th March 2026 with the Celebration of Music Concert being held on Wed 29th Apr at 7pm. There are a variety of classes, which can be entered via the website: worksopmusicfestival.co.uk All Welcome.

Worksop Music and Drama Festival 2025 will be held in March 2025. The dates for the festival are Sat 8th, Sun 9th, Fri 14th, Sat 15th and Sun 16th Mar (Sunday is subject to the number of entries). Details of how to enter are available at worksopmusicfestival.co.uk.

It has been School’s Day today at the Festival. So wonderful to hear the variety of music that happens in our Schools. You have entertained us all day. A big thank you to your teachers for all their hard work and encouragement too.

Day 2 and what a musical treat we have had today Not to mention the cakes on offer for Mums to enjoy on Mothering Sunday. Thank you to our wonderful adjudicator Iona Zuiderwijk for providing our performers with great feedback. See you Friday for Schools Day at The Masonic Hall.

We have had an excellent first day listening to the strings and woodwind performance classes. An action packed day is planned from 9am tomorrow- we would love you to come and join us.

Worksop Music Festival is nearly upon us starting next weekend- 9th, 10th 15th-17th March Each day will be held at Worksop College apart from Friday Morning- Masonic Hall Afternoon- Outwood Portland Evening- Worksop College All welcome to come and enjoy the local musical talent

Breaking News: The Academy Choir have won first prize for the 14th year in a row at The Worksop Festival achieving a distinction score for their performance of Bohemian Rhapsody and Thank You For The Music! Congratulations to all staff and students involved! @elizabethanac

Distinctions are not easy to come by at @WorksopMDF but to gain two in our haul of 5 winning performances is just remarkable. Well done to everyone who has taken part this morning and for the hard work that has been put in to reach these standards. #dreambuildgrow

@SarahGreinig do you remember when you used to take @BarlboroughHall string players to @WorksopMDF? You got us excited about festivals, and now we are regulars. Thank you for doing so much for us all those years ago.

We loved participating in the @WorksopMDF Prize Winners' Concert on Wednesday. A wonderful mix of schools, ages and musical genres. We are so happy to have been part of this celebration. @maestrostefano Rhys was so proud of this shield for exceptional commitment to Mount music.
