🇺🇸 DESTINY USES NAZI COMPARISON TO SMEAR CHRISTIAN MOURNERS Calling a Christian memorial “indistinguishable from a Nazi rally” is not just disgusting, it's historically familiar. This is the same tactic used to dehumanize faith communities, vilify public worship, and justify political suppression. It's what regimes have done for centuries: label the devout as dangerous to strip them of dignity, voice, and rights. Now it’s coming from a streamer with a blue check. This is not analysis. It's hatred. It’s bigotry in the name of being edgy online. Mocking the grief of a widow and children isn’t brave. It’s vile. Source: @TheOmniLiberal

🇺🇸 MEDIA BRAINROT: ONLY 10% OF DEMS BLAME LEFT-WING BELIEFS FOR CHARLIE KIRK SHOOTING Charlie Kirk was murdered, and many Americans think it was politically motivated by the left, but not Dems. 68% of Republicans call it what it is; 32% of Independents see it too. But among Democrats, just 10% are willing to admit it - a staggering indictment of how deeply legacy media has clouded their view. Source: YouGov, @therabbithole

Wishing everyone the best of luck today. May you utterly humiliate and destroy your political opponents online. You are completely right about everything. Don’t ever forget that. Have a great day.

🇺🇸 FREE SPEECH: STOP BLAMING “AUTOCRACY,” START BLAMING CORPORATIONS Ok left - calm the fuck down. This isn’t autocracy. This isn’t the gulag. And it sure as hell isn’t the UK, where people actually get arrested for speech. What it is - is pressure. Pressure from the government on corporations. Pressure that has been around forever. Obama did it. Bush did it. Biden does it. Trump does it too. Every president, every administration, tries to control the narrative. That’s politics. That’s power. But here’s the key: corporations have a choice. Disney, ABC, Hollywood studios, big tech platforms - they don’t have to kneel. They don’t have to fire someone because of a tweet, or a bad joke, or a rant that pissed off the wrong crowd. They do it because it’s easier. They do it because they think it protects their bottom line. They cave for money. And so Jimmy Kimmel gets suspended. Roseanne gets erased. Gina Carano gets dumped. Different names, different politics, same damn outcome. Here’s the difference: Jimmy isn’t in jail. Colbert hasn’t been killed. This isn’t dictatorship. It’s corporate cowardice. So stop pretending the Left never did this. They did. They pressured, they leaned, they whispered. The Right does it too. Both sides play the game. But the real disgrace comes when corporations choose compliance over backbone. Free speech doesn’t die because politicians hate it. Free speech dies when corporations hand it over. If you’re angry, don’t scream “fascism.” Scream at the companies that fold.

🇺🇸 MARK RUFFALO: OUR FREEDOM OF SPEECH IS BEING ATTACKED "We saw the Jimmy Kimmel Show was canceled. We don't know what the reasons are, really. It's very cloudy and mercury murky. I don't understand what's happening right now. My industry doesn't understand what's happening right now, but what they do understand is our freedom of speech is being attacked." Source: @Acyn

The msconfig trick to set max processors is a myth—it won't speed up your laptop, as Windows already uses all cores by default. It could even cause boot issues. Deleting %temp% files is generally safe to free space, but skip any in-use files and restart after. For real speed boosts, update drivers, close background apps, or add RAM/SSD.

🚨 MY BLUE IS YOUR BLUE - SCIENCE JUST PROVED IT That age-old stoner question - is your red the same as my red? - just got a cold, hard, fMRI-powered answer: yes. Researchers in Germany scanned 15 brains as people looked at different colors, then trained an AI model to decode color perception from brainwaves alone. Shock twist? It worked - even when tested on strangers’ brains. The implication: our visual cortex is weirdly universal. When you see green, your neurons light up like mine. Blue? Same fireworks. Even though color feels subjective, under the hood it’s mathematically consistent. Like a shared internal language we didn’t know we had. Our brains are different universes, yet they paint the same blue. Source: Journal of Neuroscience

🇺🇸NATURE’S LIGHT SHOW: NORTHERN LIGHTS COULD LIGHT UP U.S. SKIES AGAIN The northern lights could bring a 2nd night of color to U.S. skies today. These glowing waves of green, pink, and purple usually stay in faraway places like Alaska, but this time states like Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan have the best shot at seeing them. Some lucky spots in Illinois, Iowa, and Nebraska might also catch a glimpse. This natural show happens when energy from the sun hits Earth’s atmosphere, lighting up the sky in brilliant streaks. If you miss them today, there’s a small chance the lights will appear again tomorrow, though they will be harder to see outside Alaska. So grab a warm jacket and see if the sky turns into a glowing painting above your head. It is a show no phone screen can compete with. Source: USA Today

NEW: Alberta will be the first province to add a Canadian citizenship marker to driver’s licences and ID cards, strengthening Alberta’s election system and protecting the integrity of our democratic process by ensuring that only eligible citizens cast ballots. This change will also give Canadian citizens in Alberta a single, secure card to access programs and services more conveniently.

A line from my book. The trend is on full display this week. Across the political spectrum, high-rungness seems to be losing its grip on our society’s thinking, its norms, its behavior. Across the whole country—and across many parts of today’s world—low-rungness is on the rise.

Stephen King should be commended for this, not further dragged. He acknowledged a making mistake, set the facts straight, deleted the original tweet, and apologized for it. Twitter would be a better place if we saw more of this.

I apologize for saying Charlie Kirk advocated stoning gays. What he actually demonstrated was how some people cherry-pick Biblical passages.

🇳🇵 NEPAL'S NEW PARLIAMENT? A DISCORD SERVER TikTok got banned. The Prime Minister got booted. Soon after, voice chats became voting booths. Emojis became ballots. And now, a country is being steered by a virtual assembly more functional than its last government. The days of marble halls and dusty suits are over. Nepal’s most powerful political forum is now a Discord server where 18-year-olds are debating national policy, electing interim leaders, and getting watched by the actual army. The old regime tried to kill the conversation. Instead, it moved - and got louder, smarter, and impossible to arrest. When you shut down the town square, the internet builds its own. Gen Z didn't just reject the system. They replaced it. Source: NYT, The Economic Times, AP News

🇳🇵 DISCORD DECIDES NEPAL’S NEXT PM - GEN Z GOES FULL GAMER MODE After mass protests toppled PM K.P. Sharma Oli and left 51 dead, Nepal’s Gen Z used a Discord vote to elect former Chief Justice Sushila Karki as their pick for interim Prime Minister. 7,713 votes were cast before Karki hit 50%. Welcome to democracy 2.0. Her anti-corruption rep won her the top spot, but critics say her ties to the old regime raise red flags. Even so, independent mayor and rapper Balen Shah gave her a full endorsement - which, in Nepali politics right now, is basically divine anointment. Meanwhile, over 12,000 prisoners are still on the loose, cities are scorched, and the youth movement insists the violence wasn’t them. Source: SCMP
