Yeah (rt) I'm an oldtaku too and been in fandoms for 20+ years, things have definitely turned worse in recent years.

I’ve been in fandom spaces since 2007. Fandom etiquette was completely different then and so much better. Nobody made hating a ship their entire personality. DNIs didn’t exist because people knew how to block and move on. Proship/anti is stupid and always has been. It’s not real.
