Starmer was on tv earlier tonight rightly condemning the rioting right-wing thugs, but he was flanked by two Butcher's Aprons. The very flag that many of the thugs have been seen carrying. Talk about having no sense of self-awareness. Dreadful messaging from Starmer.

BBC Scotland isn't just protecting Anas Sarwar, it's actively trying to help his image to make him more appealing to Scottish voters for Holyrood 2026. It's trying to distance him from Starmer's right wing cuts agenda. It's why it made up the claim that he is urging Starmer to scrap the two child cap. Having made it up it couldn't ask him to confirm it. How could he, it's fictitious. STV News exposed it as such when it sent a crew to Sarwar's media event and asked him to confirm it. Sarwar of course couldn't. Someone at BBC Scotland is actively working to help Sarwar. There's no question about that. There's also what appears to be some kind of understanding with the Daily Record and Paul Hutcheon. Both the 'two child cap' fiction and the 'postage stamp' smear were created by Hutcheon. BBC Scotland will continue to burnish Sarwar's image. It will also continue to promote anti-SNP smears. Look out for the Daily Record getting more and more exposure on BBC Scotland and Hutcheon, or someone else from the Daily Record, appearing more and more as a guest pundit.
