Tonight at a shopping mall , I watched a 5 year old boy ask a little girl if he could hug her because he liked her sweater. She said, "No.” He smiled, "Okay! I like your sweater. Bye!" and ran back to his dad. To his dad, he proudly said: "I didn't hug her because she said no... but I told her I liked her sweater!" His dad replied, “Cool, buddy!" ...and they went on shopping. If a 5-year-old boy can understand consent and respect a "No," then so can every adult

I don’t understand ppl who close their windows on planes, especially like if it’s mid-afternoon and not a red eye flight like bro you are hurtling 30000 ft above land and can see for hundreds of miles, this is an insane feat and you should want to gaze upon it

Best thing you can do to avoid getting sick these next few weeks: wear a well fitting KN95 or n95 mask. If you work outside your home, either invest in air purifiers for your private office or eat in your car during lunch if most of your coworkers aren't 😷. You can avoid illness

It’s been 6 years and we still haven’t adopted any of the lessons we learned in the early days of the pandemic. We don’t have masks in healthcare. We don’t have clean air benchmarks. We don’t have paid time off or a sterilizing vaccine. We gave up. We let Covid win.
