@guyrleech You can try this PS command: $(Get-AzVm -ResourceGroupName "YourRGName" -Name "YourVMName").StorageProfile.ImageReference.Sku If the image name contains evd or avd, it is a multi-session OS. If you use a custom image, the defined custom sku must contain a tag for multisession.

#AVD folks do you know a way to determine if a session host is single or multi session pls without going to the Windows layer on the machine (eg VM is stopped)? I've looked at host pools & session hosts via the Az.DesktopVirtualization PS module & Get-AzVM but can't see it
