Chest still aches with every new detail that comes to light. With everything that’s happened, I hope CPR and Basic Life Support become mandatory part of the Philippine curriculum. Skills you hope you’ll never need, but you’ll be grateful to have when every second counts.

Sa totoo lang, kahit si Rene hindi matutuwa sa mga pinagsasabi niyo sa mga teammates niya. Kahit ilang araw pa lang sila magkakasama, base sa mga kwento nila, ok sila. So tigil niyo yang mga assumptions niyo na inggit kay Rene, nilunod sila Rene ok? Leche.

Andun na ako sa hindi coordinated sa LGU, may enough signages at oo may accountability ang Ateneo de Manila sa kamatayan nina Rene and Divine under the principle of Loco Parentis.
Pero naman, do not call yourselves rescuers kung yung basic na pagbuhat sa biktima, mali pa.

3. Binigyan ko pa ng kunting chance ang rescue team na they did everything. Pero hindi eh. Pag part ka ng DRRMO, basic first aid, BLS and AED certified. The LGU can alot 150k for a good AED machine. Kahit 3rd class municipality ka, kaya pondohan yan.

Si Divine may pulse, trinansfer gamit ang police vehicle. Bakit hindi muna nag CPR and nirevive yung bata at hinintay na may dumating na isa pang ambulance since 5-10 or 15 mins after makita si Rene bago nakita si Divine?
This is not an ADMU accountability alone.

Okay. Fight me. CPR/AED certified ako since 2018 (re-certified every 2 years with annual re-training), twice deployed sa water rescue, 4x deployed sa disaster ops:
1. very ❌️ na ipahinto ang CPR dahil itatransfer sa ambulance na wala sa malapit ang vehicle.I saw the video

Sam and Kieffer shared that CPR was being performed on Rene before a medic told them to stop so he could be brought to the ambulance. They also recalled that Divine still had a pulse when he was recovered, yet was taken to the hospital in a police vehicle. Bakit ganun ☹️

This is exactly why I've been defending Alas on Twitter. Why are you people blaming HIM for the lives of his two brothers? HE LOST THEM, TOO! HE'S MOURNING MORE THAN MOST OF US HERE.
Blame Ateneo de Manila, Tab Baldwin, and Epok Quimpo. Never blame the players.
