Finally got my PET scan results—
First scan since I finished chemo, and there’s no sign of the cancer returning so far 😭🩵 oncologist said the more time that passes, the less chance there is of it returning so 🤞🏻

@obenson34 20 rounds is alot. My grandpa had a similar treatment plan. ALOT of radiation: but it made him nervous so he did more chemo instead. He’s still fighting. So glad ur okay & I pray u stay in remission💜

@_awkwardlezbean Yeah, they wanted to do 6 + 20 rounds of radiation but the risk of lung cancer in my family made me settle for 12 chemo treatments instead. I responded super well to it thank goodness. It’s a slow recovery but I’m def better than I was. My hair is growing back pretty fast too

@_awkwardlezbean Yeah it was crazy to see the before and after. It was bigger than my heart. It was in the center but pressing on my heart and lung. Only needed 12 chemo treatments & it was gone. I had Hodgkins Lymphoma. It’s very treatable unlike non-Hodgkins.
