Outside of working for the government, do companies really check whether your certifications are still active? Because I saw people on LinkedIn saying they let theirs expire but kept them on the resume to get past the HR filters.

@_cyber_bee I believe its not a scam. Im in networking and with cisco the certificate especially ccnp gets you new topics like AI that you can use to better your infrastructure. Its just telling the industry your up to date with the technology the vendor provides.
