Why is it people blame the marginalised community when someone gets misdiagnosed? People who say they’re ex-gay or ex-trans have this same framing. ‘LGBT people made me believe I was queer by accepting the possibility I might be’ ‘If it wasn’t for them I would never have felt ✨confused✨and trapped in their cult’ Like baby no one else showed up to the appointment but you. You phoned your doctors, you told your friends and family, you liked the posts, you followed the creators, you identified with it. How is it now anyone else’s fault but your own that you mischaracterised yourself. They could blame the doctors, the system, the media moguls, they could blame anybody… yet they turn round to the people who are genuinely LGBT and say ‘this is your fault’ This woman blames social media for raising awareness around neurodivergence within women. She does this while 80% of NHS diagnoses are still going to men. The prevalence is 1.84% to 0.82% We should be seeing 2:1 yet we have 4:1 Despite this - apparently women are being ‘tricked’ into believing they are neurodivergent and are being falsely handed diagnoses… apparently is so common it’s of sufficient concern to write a bloody article about it. I wish more folk went to therapy

@ginter_allen @SteezyyTommyy @dqveed Yes. It literally confirms what I said. Trans men have been reported to have larger cortical bone size. Trans women have higher prevalence of low bone mass. There's not much research done, but it does change bone structure, mass and size.
