There was still some time before the actual filming, and we met and exchanged greetings. At that time, Meguro-san spoke about his feelings towards this film, his thoughts about me portraying Shin and his own resolve in portraying Sakamoto. Hearing him express all of that so clearly really left a huge impression on me. After hearing that, I actually told him, "I'll approach this role with full trust (in you) as well." And once that conversation ended, I remember thinking, "This is it. This film is definitely gonna succeed." If Meguro-san was going to portray Sakamoto, then as Shin, it felt like all I needed to do was just to be there and breathe... well, not exactly that but... 🖤: That's too fast 😂 I am happy to hear that though. Of course, I could feel Fumiya's passion too, but more than that, I also felt like, "This person is a lot just like me." Like...there were parts of him that could be similar to me. So I found myself hoping that he was feeling the same way as I did and thought about what I could say to him...and because I felt that way, it me think, "Ah, I'm really looking forward to filming from here on."
