it's a remarkable milestone for anyone working on compilers and smart contract security: Vyper is set to become the _first_ formally verified smart contract compiler, effectively allowing you to mathematically prove that the entire compilation pipeline preserves the contract logic _and_ to prove that the contract logic itself is correct. Oh, and the cool thing is, my snekmate math functions have been formally verified :D. 🐍💙

It seems Jane Street may have had a long-standing culture that essentially trained crypto scammers, and perhaps also concocted and ran some of the scams themselves. Terra/Luna was a jenga tower waiting for somebody to topple it, and it may have been Jane Street that figured out how to do it. If crypto is not strong and secure against such things, it provides little or no benefit over traditional finance, so I'm not going to cry about this, and perhaps it should even be applauded. The alleged Bitcoin ETF market making + "10 am" selling with that liquidity sounds like a considerably more problematic conflict of interest. "Negligent" might be a good way to describe the ETFs who naively trusted Jane Street with this function. Now the once-hot crypto ETFs are draining because of an understandable reduction in trust, not in the coins themselves, but in the way Wall Street "makes markets" for buying and selling them. In finance "everyone is a scammer" -- and you should stop blindly trusting scammers. That is why Bitcoin OGs have long said, "Not your keys, not your coins," "don't trust, verify", and even "trusted third parties are security holes." And when "the market" is so dependent on trusting strangers, especially strangers who still don't actually understand or like Bitcoin all that much, it's also not your "market price." x.com/1914ad/status/…

Almost what feels like a lifetime ago, when I was a teenager, well before I was aware of peptides, I caught an extreme inflammation of my Achille's tendon, I couldn't even walk with shoes ... I had to be barefoot all the time to make it bearable, every pair of shoes resulted in pain and limping like a WW1 survivor I tried pretty much every single OTC anti-inflammatory product available (didn't have access to Rx because was abroad) and nothing worked, even Voltagel .. That's until a friend of my father heard of my issue and offered to use a medicinal leech (Hirudo medicinalis) he had. Not wild leeches obviously, he bought them virgin from a German farm producing them for labs and hospitals So I put one leech on my tendon, it did its job, fell off. I bled continuously, even if it was very weak, for almost 17 hours but the next day, the inflammation and pain I had for weeks was gone Infl/pain came back a few days after, but very faint, so I put a new leech on my tendon, and then my inflammation was gone forever, never came back
