Depending on another human for happiness is a very risky thing to do. Marry, love but be enough for yourself too.

Marriage is beautiful. It’s having a partner for life to plan with etc but don’t expect anything special They have their own mind, their own brains, their own soul, their own emotions. They can flip on you anytime. It’s supposed to be perfect but it’s a human that you are marrying.

This is what I have been talking about. Marriage doesn’t end at provision as a man. There’s a lot more to do. You can pay the bills, send school fees in pounds, handle responsibilities and still lose your marriage emotionally if connection, presence, attention, and intimacy are gone. The painful part is when one person is breaking his back in pounds to build a future, while the other is creating memories with someone else in the same house. Jabi Lake is gone, built 20 years ago by the Obasanjo administration. A place that serves as a recreational center, which has accommodated the whole of Abuja, is about to be shut down due to the selfish interests of politicians. They sold it to a real estate company. So sad to see. Now, the beautiful Jabi lake will be surrounded with residebtail houses.. No room for recreation, sightseeing, or fun activities anymore.

Indigenous Rights and Land Protection Bill— Full compensation for ancestral lands.  Land Rights Tribunal.  No demolitions without proper notice and fair payment.  Affordable housing for middle- and low-income families.  Your dignity is not negotiable. SIX: You will see where every kobo goes. FCTA Accountability Bill— every budget, every contract, every demolition order.  You will SEE it.  TRACK it.  QUESTION it.  The minister will be mandated by law to engage Abuja residents before drafting budgets or spending.  Your needs must be captured in the budget.  FCTA will no longer see bloated and inflated contracts used to enrich corrupt politicians.  When everything is in the open, the thieves have nowhere to hide.
