I saw a video of a very tall man helping a girl who had climbed a traffic light to celebrate a win. What struck me most was how kind, respectful, and genuine he was. "It's safer."
"She'll have professional care."
"I can't do this alone."
Those were the words I used whenever anyone asked.
The truth is a lot uglier.
