If men want women safer, start by holding the men in your world accountable. Patterns matter.

So yes, not all men. But when the majority carries the pattern, the majority carries the vote. Women aren't asking for hatred toward men. It’s accountability, self-reflection, and change. If that offends you, maybe ask why.

“Not all men” ignores majority patterns; the same way we understand cultural trends and stereotypes. Igbo people are known for liking money. Yoruba people for loving pepper. We know stereotypes don’t mean everyone; but they didn’t come from nowhere either.

A woman is killed by someone she trusts every 10 minutes somewhere in the world. Sometimes randomly "just because". Not all men? Sure. But enough men commit violence to make fear and caution reasonable. Violence against women isn’t random. It’s patterned, predictable, global.

1 in 3 women worldwide experiences physical or sexual violence in her lifetime. 60% of women murdered globally are killed by a partner or family member. In 2024, approximately 50,000 women were killed by partners or relatives. That’s 137 women a day.
