The reality is Madkhali has died... But his narratives will continue to prevail the tyrants Who enable: • What we saw during the War on Terror • The normalisation with Israel in the current day • The killing of the Sudanese • The oppression of Libyans under Haftar

The book demonstrates that Salafism is not a monolithic movement, and its claim to having the 'correct/authentic understanding of Islam' is debatable. The Salafi claim of "following the Qur’an and Sunnah as understood by the salaf" is very appealing to converts and socially disadvantaged Muslims who are unaware of the diversity of scholarly opinions and nuances of interpretations which exists in traditional Islam's schools of law (madhabs). Many Salafi-trained preachers and adherents, including the author, left the movement or acknowledged that many of the controversial issues raised by Salafi scholars are open to scholarly interpretation. The book’s epilogue provides an insightful account of the author’s thoughts and challenges since “moving on” from the movement. Understanding Salafism is a valuable primer on the Salafi/Wahhabi movement for researchers and laypersons. A recommended read.

REVIEW: Understanding Salafism by Yasir Qadhi is a comprehensive overview of the controversial Salafi movement in modern Islam. The book provides a thoughtful exploration of the revivalist Sunni Muslim movement which invokes fear and dread in outsiders who view Salafism as religious extremism. For Salafis themselves, the movement represents 'authentic Islam' as understood by the ‘pious predecessors’ of early Islam.

Six million people. That’s how many have been forced from their homes in just over two years across Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran. In Gaza, displacement has become a repeated reality. Entire neighborhoods have been destroyed, while Israeli evacuation orders have pushed civilians from one area to another, often into places that are later targeted again. Today, the vast majority of Gaza’s population has been displaced, many of them multiple times. Source: UN OCHA - Gaza Situation Reports . In Lebanon, escalating Israeli airstrikes have driven more than a million people from their homes. Towns in the south, the Bekaa, and parts of Beirut have emptied rapidly, as civilians fled under the threat of continued bombardment. Source: UNHCR; UN OCHA - Lebanon Updates . In Iran, the widening scope of the conflict has forced millions to flee major cities, as regional attacks intensified and fears of further escalation spread. Source: UNHCR - Iran Displacement Report . According to UN agencies and humanitarian reporting, this level of displacement is not random. It reflects a pattern seen across different fronts: sustained military pressure, forced movement, and the steady erosion of any place civilians can safely remain. Different countries. Different contexts. But the same result: Mass displacement not as an accident of war, but as one of its defining outcomes.

@MBitcoiner Nonsense ! Currency existed at the time of the prophet ﷺ. To make the bogus claim that riba is baked into currency and thus we need to use bitcoin. You are literally rejecting multiple Hadith, and saying you have more knowledge of Allahs deen than the prophet ﷺ himself

@ummatics Fearing extremism in Takfīr, you have ran to the other side and fallen into negligence. Those who claim to be Muslim yet reject the authority of Islamic Law are indeed not Muslims. This doesn’t mean all of them can be takfīred as individuals; for that, conditions must be met.

If the term "Islamism" is viewed as a Kemalist or secularist category, does its removal solve the problem—or create a new one? We examine the "Takfiri" risk inherent in flattening political distinctions into the singular label of "Muslim," which inadvertently questions the faith of those who do not place Islam at the center of the political order. — Dr. Sümeyye Sakarya
