Update—Woman arrested for wearing inflatable penis costume at ICE protest found 100% not guilty. "Total victory in court for free speech!" She was violently arrested at No Kings rally—for her 7 foot phallic costume and sign reading No Dick-Tator. "As Alabamians we dare to defend our rights—this fight is not over," she said. "We have some growing and re-learning about the rights the citizens of this town have, that happen to be on par with the rest of the nation." 62 year old Renea Gamble was found not guilty of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, disturbing the peace, and giving a false name to law enforcement. Incident occurred in Fairhope, Alabama. #DemsUnited

Russian troops turned Oleshky into a sealed pocket. 2,000 civilians remain trapped in occupied city. No safe exit routes after Russian troops mined roads. At least 47 children are still inside, with no regular food or water supplies. People die of hunger, Kyiv Independent. 1/

Twelve years ago, on April 17, 2014, in Donbas. Russian special-ops group led by 🇷🇺 FSB-officer Igor Girkin (Strelkov), seized and tortured local 🇺🇦 politician Volodymyr Rybak. A man whose only “crime” was that he was for Ukraine. His stomach was slit, a backpack filled with stones was put on his back, and he was thrown (still alive) into the river. His dead body was fished out days later. Together with him they found Yury Popravka, an 18-year-old student who also suffered a martyr’s death. His “crime” was the same. It was April 2014. There was still no understanding that war had come. But Russians already created a daily Golgotha, to which they and their local collaborators took anyone who was for Ukraine. Let us remember Volodymyr, Yury, and all the others who endured torment in Donbas and Crimea in March, April and May 2014. Let’s not forget who started the bloodshed.

What we often forget about how important Ukraine was/is important to Russia is the militaro-industrial capacities : Losing Ukraine meant losing 25 to 30% of the russian military industry : ▫️Missiles and rockets engineering in Dnipro ▫️Mykolaiv shipyard ▫️Tank factories in Kharkiv ▫️Motor Sich in Zaporizhzhia (all motors for planes) ▫️Antonov production in Kyiv All those factories were part of the soviet production line. If Ukraine is able today to produce massive number of drones, more and more missiles, naval drones and armoured vehicles, it's because it still has the engineers and industries. The 2nd point Russia wants is the civilian industry. You have big industries in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Krivi Rih, Kremenchuk, Kamianske... the coal and steel industries are located both in Donbas and Krivi Rih regions. However, Russia obliterated most of the factories they took (Azovstal and Illitch in Mariupol, Coke Plant in Avdiivka, Pokrovsk coal mines...). Since 2022, Russia only managed to capture large rural areas and destroyed the few cities they took. So the 3rd russian objective is obviously the big agricultural sector in Ukraine. With large lands taken in southern Ukraine in 2022. BUT, these lands are now largely unuseful because of the war and there is a critical point with water. Southern Ukraine and Crimea are slowly turning into a desert, since water is not coming from the Dnipro anymore. This will be the same for Donbas as soon as Sloviansk will fall. The war Russia launched could continue for long time because Donbas cannot work without Zaporizhzhia and nearly all the objectives have not been met.

1/ Russia is reported to be sending reserve troops to Ukraine, even as its recruitment efforts are faltering. Recently posted videos suggest that reservists are being transported in handcuffs, and men who have lost legs and arms are also being sent into assaults. ⬇️

🚨 Horrific. Russia just hit a Baptist church in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, with a glide bomb, killing and injuring church members. Show this video to everyone who’s saying that Russia protects Christians and the Christian faith.

So the threats of Russian false flag ops and the like to prevent #Orbàn’s fall never materialised. They never were plausible, but also Moscow was quite sanguine about the risk. A short thread based on… 1/

1/ Russia recently sent a 'shadow fleet' tanker through the English Channel, escorted by a Russian Navy warship. However, as the 'Fighterbomber' Telegram channel points out, this is more for performative than practical reasons. ⬇️ x.com/PolitlcsUK/sta…

The defeat of Orban 🇭🇺 is the defeat of Moscow 🇷🇺 For years, Hungary served as a gateway for Russian spies into Europe. Hungary sent secret EU documents to Russia, blocked aid packages for Ukraine, and continued to buy oil and gas from Russia. The Hungarian prime minister became the most fervent anti-Ukrainian figure in Europe, largely supported by Moscow. Let's not forget the scandals involving Bosnian Serbs (with Hungarian intelligence services repeatedly assisting them), the arrest of Ukrainian citizens, and the drone surveillance of Ukrainian air defense systems. All those are foreign policy scandals, we shouldn't forget other scandals : 🔹Child Abuse Pardon: His administration collapsed into crisis after pardoning a man who helped cover up child sexual abuse in a state orphanage. 🔹Pegasus Spyware: The government used military-grade spyware to illegally monitor the phones of investigative journalists and political rivals. 🔹Elios Corruption: Orbán's son-in-law's company won millions in EU-funded contracts through what investigators called "systematic irregularities." 🔹Völner-Schadl Bribery: A deputy minister was caught in a massive corruption ring involving rigged court bailiff positions and secret kickbacks. 🔹Russian Nuclear Deal: Orbán bypassed public bidding to award a multi-billion dollar nuclear plant contract to Russia's Rosatom under a secret agreement. 🔹Media Consolidation: Hundreds of private media outlets were merged into a single state-aligned foundation controlled by Orbán’s associates. 🔹Sovereignty Protection Act: A new law empowers the state to investigate and jail anyone receiving foreign funding under the guise of national security. 🔹University Expulsion: The government passed specific laws that successfully forced the Central European University to flee Hungary for Austria. 🔹Stop Soros Laws: Legislation was enacted that criminalized humanitarian work and legal aid provided to migrants and refugees. 🔹Anti-LGBTQ+ Law: A "propaganda" law was passed that bans any depiction or discussion of LGBTQ+ identities in schools and media for minors. 🔹Electoral Gerrymandering: Orbán rewrote the voting maps and rules to ensure his party retains a supermajority despite losing many popular votes.

Kasparov: Betraying Eastern Europe isn’t new in the US — both parties have done it. Promises to “stand with Ukraine” were cover for other games. Putin exposed the West’s weakness — corruption, fear, and a desire to avoid real confrontation at any cost. 1/
