This was our best performance of the season, this should've been the vision from the onset, Zubimendi should've been a rotational piece for Rice. If Rice consistently played this role in the last two years, he'd have mastered it by now. But we chose the easy way out

For me the future of this Arsenal team isn't a pivot system, we have to revert back to a 433 system with a lone #6 and two #8. That was the vision all along. The mistake the club made was not forcing Rice to learn that role even if he made mistakes along the way.

I’m sorry but we really have to bin off the domestic cups in the seasons we genuinely believe we can challenge in Europe and the Prem.

People get hung up on messaging, mentality, “bottle” etc.
I’m not saying it doesn’t matter. But for me, more than managers, or tactics, or mentality or anything else, talent wins trophies. the most talented teams win stuff. And our attacking talent isn’t currently anywhere near the level.
In general, one of the strongest & fairest criticisms that I’ve heard about this current “project” has been the way we’ve approached attacking recruitment. I don’t think we’ve gotten it right after multiple attempts & I feel like that’s where we could fall short of our goals more than anything else
