1/ Black Trans photographers like Texas Isaiah and Liam Woods do more than document us—they build archives of joy, care, and resistance. This #BlackTransWeekOfVisibility, we’re centering the power of self-representation. #SelfVisibility

@godhoodcomics Damn y’all really hate your own people that much? Letitia was great and they did a beautiful memoriam for T’challa in Wakanda Forever. Just let us have this damn.

One day I hope us black people can be wise and mature enough to discuss and understand the implications of not recasting Tchalla.

Marvel Studios’ Blade has been removed from the 2025 release calender, presumably delayed indefinitely.

@havanesemom13 @spooky1980 This man really does have the memory of an elephant. I saw him at ACE a couple years ago and then went to a second one that was 6 months apart. Before I walked all the way up at my MG he turned and pointed and said “Liam from seattle right? How are you?” I’m like WHAT?!?🫠

@spooky1980 It’s so impressive to me that he remembers all these people and thought to follow up with me, like he doesn’t just make small talk he asks thoughtful questions, he’s the best!

@marvellie_ LMFAO you’re welcome! I love to see this passed down through the generations 😂😂😂

#TheMarvels is the first Marvel movie to feature not just all-female leads but a female villain (Zawe Ashton plays Dar-Benn), as well. DaCosta, 33, is the youngest filmmaker to helm an MCU release. She’s also the first Black woman to do so.
“Day to day, I don’t really think about it. But it is nice to finally have a Black woman directing one — it just happens to be me,” DaCosta says via APNews
