@splendid_pete This is what I miss about Liveleak. It was raw, unfiltered news by the people actually experiencing it. Propaganda is a very real, and scary evil. It is so hard to find stuff like this. It gets buried in the mainstream media

I highly recommend watching this “covert” Russian documentary called “Russians at War” from start to finish. (Link in comments)
Ukrainian sanctions are doing the job. Shame some Western freeloaders still won’t step up, but that bill always comes due.
This film basically drops you into the daily reality of Russian frontline soldiers, mud, confusion, propaganda, and slow psychological collapse. No hero narrative, no clean victories. Just under-equipped men, shifting stories, and a system that feeds them half-truths while grinding them down. It tries to humanise them, but what really comes through is how broken the whole machine is.

@martianmckay @AstronomyVibes Have you ever peed in a pool? And you walk into a zone where someone pee'd? I would imagine it's like that
English

@AstronomyVibes It hit this "wall" years ago.. but i dont much understand their logic. The hot particles are supposedly so far away from eachother that Voyager is able to pass between them unaffected.. like how is it hot then if the instruments cant feel the heat? 🧐

Voyager hit a 90,000° wall at the edge of the solar system…
At the edge of our solar system, NASA’s Voyager 1 discovered a massive 90,000-degree wall of plasma shielding our world from the galaxy’s raw radiation.
As NASA’s Voyager 1 journeyed past the heliopause—the outer limit of the Sun’s influence—it encountered a startling phenomenon: a region of intensely heated plasma ranging from 30,000 to 90,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Rather than a solid barrier, this "wall" is a turbulent transition zone where solar winds collide with the pressure of interstellar space. Particles from our sun slow down and pile up, compressing into an invisible furnace that marks the definitive boundary where our solar neighborhood ends and the deep cosmos begins.
Despite these extreme temperatures, the region presents a scientific paradox. Because the plasma is incredibly sparse—far emptier than any vacuum achievable on Earth—there are too few particles to effectively transfer heat, meaning the area wouldn't actually feel hot to a human observer. Beyond its heat, this boundary acts as a vital protective shield for life on Earth by deflecting a significant portion of harmful cosmic radiation. Now over 15 billion miles away, Voyager 1 continues to transmit data from this frontier, revealing that the edge of our system is far more violent and complex than ever imagined.

@zacharymears @tbpn @n0tsa This is why DJI drones are banned in the US. The CIA knew about the capability of the company and banned them.
English

Sammy Azdoufal (@n0tsa) recently thought it might be fun to see if he could control his new DJI robotic vacuum with his PS5 controller.
Within a few hours, he had the ability to both see and hear inside 7,000 DJI vacuum owners' homes, and control the devices with super low latency.
Sammy discovered the bug when he was trying to program the vacuum to make crying noises when it reached 30% battery. While reverse engineering the DJI Home app so he could figure out his vacuum's battery status, DJI sent him data on all existing DJI vacuums of that model.
Sammy then contacted his friend, who also had a DJI vacuum, and quickly found he could both see and hear his friend through his DJI vacuum, as well as control it.
Sammy says DJI hasn't fixed the bug completely, and that being able to see through the vacuums is still possible.
Here's his full breakdown of finding the bug:

@MarkJCarney We should invest more into the Olympics for the athlete's. More investment will really help with the development for the next Olympics. Canada should have more medals. It has been a disappointing considering there are 200 Canadian Participants

@MarkJCarney That's how it should be. Margins and employment belong to Canadians.

Overnight, Ukrainian drones destroyed three Russian "Tor" air defense systems worth an estimated $75 million.
All three systems were located in the Russian-occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region.
The operation was carried out simultaneously by the “Ptakhy” unit of the 1st Separate Center of the Unmanned Systems Forces, in coordination with the SBS Middle Strike Coordination Center.
