The U.S. and Israel are at war with Iran.
Iran is backed by Russia.
But the U.S. is also kinda nice to Russia. Ukraine is at war with Russia. So logically, Ukraine hates Iran (Russia’s biggest cheerleader). But the U.S. is fighting Iran while being friendly with Russia, the same Russia that Ukraine is fighting. 
Try to keep up, this is beginner level geopolitics. China also supports Russia. The U.S. hates China.
But the U.S. is chill with Russia.
Don’t think about it too hard or your brain will file for divorce. Europe is supporting Ukraine. The U.S. is currently not speaking to Europe.
Instead, it’s with Viktor, the guy who treats the EU like his toxic ex and Russia like his side chick. The Arab monarchies are tight with the U.S. and getting rocked by Iran. Ukraine, which hates Iran, is sending them support. Israel, which also hates Iran, is bombing it. The Arab monarchies and Israel still can’t stand each other. Everyone’s on the same team… except when they’re not. Still with me? Blink twice if you need medical attention. China supports Russia but is also slowly eating Russia alive like a polite python.
 India hates China but loves Russia. China, by the way, isn’t really “friendly” with anyone.
It just has a very complicated situationship with the entire planet. Congratulations if you managed to follow all that without needing a flowchart, a therapist, or a stiff drink.

Nichts ist wertvoller, als die klugen Ratschläge zur strategischen Ausrichtung der FDP von Leuten, die die FDP aus tiefster kollektivistischer Überzeugung hassen und die FDP folglich nie gewählt haben und nie wählen werden. Die FDP hat noch einen einzigen Schuss frei. Auf dem Parteitag im Mai. Der muss sitzen. Mit einem weitgehend Unkekannten (Höne) und Frau Strack-Zimmermann (die eher nicht für Liberalität bekannt ist) an der Spitze wird man gnadenlos scheitern. Kubicki und Hagen hingegen wären ein Team, dem man einen restart der FDP zutrauen kann. Mit klaren liberalen Botschaften und einer deutlichen Absage an jeglichen Kollektivismus. Hier existiert ein grosses Wählerpotenzial, da es derzeit keine (andere) Partei gibt, die die Freiheit in den Mittelpunkt stellt. Das Feld der Kollektivisten ist übervoll, dort drängeln sich derzeit alle politischen Kräfte von links über die sog. "Mitte" bis rechts. Auf dem Feld der Freiheit hingegen herrscht gähnende Leere. Dieses politische Vakuum sollte die FDP konsequent und mit klaren liberalen Botschaften füllen, ohne Anbiederung an den vorherrschenden antifreiheitlichen Zeitgeist. Die politische Ernte könnte beträchtlich sein. Und die Fehler in der Ampel sollte man endgültig abhaken, dieses Nach-Tarocken bringt nichts. (disclaimer: ich bin nicht Mitglied der FDP)

What the CEO of Rheinmetall said was insulting — yes, shortsighted — yes, but what is more worrying — his words can actually be deadly. In my country, Rheinmetall is a major contractor — tanks, Skyrangers, an ammunition factory, etc. But what is more interesting is that questions about our preparedness for a potential drone war were always drowned in a flood of arguments very similar to Mr. Papperger’s. The military establishment, lobbyists, experts — the whole lot — were telling our people that this drone thing is just a fad which will soon go away. And we should be focusing on legacy war fighting, and therefore legacy equipment. It lead to the acknowledgment that we have almost no ability to detect and to fight the Russian drones. So maybe relying solely on the military advice from a company selling one kind of equipment wasn’t such a brilliant idea. I just hope that by now we know where we went wrong, and we will find sufficient humility to ask for assistance elsewhere. And I sincerely hope that the Ukrainian housewives will share their deadly knowledge with us.
