Day 29-32: Trying out different marketing approaches for StyleMate. Here are the results so far: - Instagram → Didn’t get quick feedback/returns. I need to work on this. - TikTok → Absolute goldmine! Day 25-26: I Trusted AI Too Much 😅 Last night was a total nightmare. I noticed the SQLite database was getting corrupted in release mode. I spent hours talking to Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT. All three were pointing to the exact same spot in my loadDatabase class, so I thought “okay the problem must be somewhere else” Then I released the new app version. Users updated aand BAM, database completely wiped for anyone who had existing data. Emergency debug sessions, log diving, frantic data recovery attempts from affected users… In the end I put the AIs aside, went straight to the official SQLite documentation, read it line by line… and fixed it with two lines of change: properly setting assetSource + allowBackup=false. That tiny config detail saved the database, but it cost me a completely sleepless night. Yes, AI makes our work insanely faster, gives great ideas, 100% agree. But blindly trusting it? NEVER again. It can miss the exact edge-case you’re also missing. Now I’m both sleep-deprived and way more cautious 😅 #IndieDev #100DaysOfCode #BuildInPublic #SQLite #AppDev #AIDependency #CounterMate #StyleMate

Day 24: 2nd iOS Rejection & Quick Lessons Day 😅 StyleMate’s iOS version unfortunately got rejected for the second time. Reason is permission request issue on iPad. I realized I was triggering the request way too early. With a small code tweak, I prepared a new build and uploaded it right away. Note to self: In the future, I’ll only ask for permissions after the entire onboarding flow is complete. This way the process feels more controlled, and it completely eliminates the risk of the permission popup never appearing at all. Now we’re back in the review queue...
